Restaurant in Annapolis

Hi, I am trying to find a restaurant in Annapolis that serves American food and would have good ambiance for a celebratory lunch. Not too formal but not too casual. Does anyone have any recommendations?

  1. I like Rockfish, it has pretty normal classic seafood. Not real casual or formal. I think they are open for lunch.

If it isn't too hot, sitting out on the water at Pusser's (in that hotel oh what brand is it) can be nice, their menu is kind of hit or miss, some stuff is really good, others not so much, but they can have some good choices.

Pusser's is in the Marriott on the waterfront. I've only had drinks there on the dock.

    2. how about Carroll's Creek, Chart House, or Yellow Fin - all have nice waterviews.

      1. Harry Browne's is lovely, and while it is somewhat upscale, it's more casual at lunch.

        1. Chart House is not open for lunch. Carroll's Creek is good and has a great view of downtown Annapolis as it's in Eastport. Also, they have a more varied American menu, not just seafood, which Yellowfin specializes in. Besides, Yellowfin is in Edgewater. If it's a nice day, you can sit on the deck at Carroll's Creek, although the menu is more limited outside than in. Whatever you choose, let us know how it went -- good luck!

          1. My vote is in for Carroll's Creek. Try the scallop appetizer!
