Good eats along GA-FL Parkway and I-75 to Atlanta?
Traveling to Atlanta from N. Florida. Hoping to find some local BBQ or southern food places worth stopping for along the way or on the way back. Any suggestions are appreciated.

about 3 miles from the interstate in downtown Perry, GA is the Swanson House. Best salmon croquettes I've had.

I just ate at the new Whistle Stop Café in Macon just off I-75 and was pleasantly surprised. We had fried chicken and salmon patties and they were very good. Plus I loved my homemade roll, but did not try any of their desserts.
