Chicken and Waffles - SEA

I just read about Seattle's KickN Chicken and Waffle House in The Stranger. I've never heard of it. Has anyone been? What are their hours?

Kingfish does a tasty fried chicken & waffle but it's a bit too refined. Kick'n Chicken sounds more like it, I'll have to check it out.

(I do take exception to The Stranger's categorization of this establishment as 'Southern' - chicken & waffles is definitely a Pennsylvania & NY thing.)

Originated in Harlem but one could argue that Roscoes in LA made it famous. Certainly not a product of the south.

I swung by the place and it wasn't open at 7:00 tonight.
the phone number on the sign doesn't work.
        maybe it's weekends only.

I thought about asking the guys next door at Grubs Grill, but decided to go to the new Mexican place there instead ( they had homemade tortillas)

I was thinking of trying to hit it for breakfast this weekend.

Let us know how the C&W is, what the menu looks like, and what they say their hours are.
