Organic macadamia nuts? Marcona almonds? Where in Toronto?

  • 9

Hi there fellow chows, I need some help houndin' down some organic macadamia nuts in Toronto. The taste of organic macadamia nuts surpasses that of conventional so this organic part is really important. I know that macadamias are found everywhere, I need to find organic ones. I know they're at Whole Foods, I know, but I don't like shopping there (had a few too many rude cashiers that I'd like to spend my money elsewhere). I want to know my other options, maybe some closer to downtown, or even a bit east would be ok.

I'm also looking for marcona almonds. The ones at Whole Foods are a bit burnt. Any ideas?

Thanks!

  1. Costco carries delicious roasted/salted marcona almonds under their Kirkland brand. Totally addictive.

      i don't have a costco membership :(
but that's still good to know! i've always thought about getting one...

    2. A few months ago, I was delighted to find at my local Loblaws that they carry marcona almonds, toasted and salted, under their house brand. Unfortunately they were way, way, way over-salted. Avoid them at all costs if you're ever so tempted.

      1. This sounds like the type of thing that a Noah's may carry. Worth giving them a call.
