I have kept it to myself too long, and for that I make amends. Every Tuesday night, you can get a $10.99 Lobster Dinner at TR-comes with garlic mash and slaw-who cares it is a freakin lobster for 11 dollars! Peroni and Bud be $3.50, http://dailycocaine.blogspot.com/2008... for photos of Senior Pinchy, and what I did to him for breakfast the next day. I also compared him to another lobster dish I had eaten recently at Vita, and found the $28 Vita Lobster Salad more than lacking http://www.miami.com/culinary-cage-ma... If anyone knows of a better meal in Miami, please, please, post it here. And remember, CALL AHEAD!!!!

  1. At $14.99 this was a bargain ->

    At $10.99 it's almost ridiculous.

    1. It's obviously frozen, right? Who am I kidding, it's at the Road and I've never seen a tank there. But that's beside the point. They used to have a great lamb chop dinner but I think it's gone. This price is absurd though! If you can hold on to your lobster till Thursday you can bring it back and order the T-bone and have a $20 surf and turf! Don't know if they'd like that very much though.

        We were at the Road for lunch yesterday and the house-smoked turkey club and lava-hot crispy fries worked it's magic... I know the Herald gave the tomato "crisis" front page treatment yesterday but puh-leeease. There is no life without tomatoes! So now we enter the tomato free summer?

        Kill me.

        Tobacco Road is heavenly and the pork sammie ain't bad either.

        Tonight is ALL you can eat ribs, tomorrow 16oz t-bone. $10.99

          AG-LOL.....Let's see what happens next Tuesday. Luckily people seem to have short attention spans these days. T. Road is one of the great bargains of Miami and a great place to hang out, too.
          L2M-I was told they take delivery of live lobsters on Tuesday afternoon depending upon how many reservations they get. They don't serve them any other day. I haven't been able to verify delivery with my own eyes, but they do not taste frozen. They were sweet, and all of us at the table barely used any butter.

            I lived in Miami for 10 yrs. (originally from NYC) prior to moving to Jax. I frequented Tobacco Road often. Glad to hear it's still open. However, I usually just went for beer at the bar and live music. Does it still have live music?
