Looking for a restaurant in Toronto that serves a great seafood platter including shrimp, possibly lobster, clams, squid, etc. for one or two. It can be spicy.

In your opinion what do you think of Zee grill and La Societe
I understand both are more expensive , but how do they rank in price / value

The Zee Grill has a chilled seafood platter, which might be the best of its kind in town. They don't offer a hot seafood platter, as far as I know. http://www.zeegrill.com/menu.html Zee Grill is a great place to order seafood. Zee's quality is usually a little better than most of the seafood you would find on the Danforth.

Re: the chilled seafood tower at La Societe

I would expect La Societe to charge more and deliver less than Zee. Rent is expensive in the Colonnade and that fancy Belle Époque interior decor did not come cheap.

We love the seafood platter for 2 at the Octagon. It come with lobster, shrimp, scallops and king crab legs.
