Bar Keeper's Friend

One of my pots or pans came with a sample pack of Bar Keeper's Friend cleaner. It's the best thing I've found for getting rid of the blue discoloration that affects some of my stainless steel cookware.

Can anyone tell me where I can find more of that stuff? Somewhere near South Etobicoke or eastern Mississauge would be great.

  1. I haven't seen it in Toronto, but I have seen it in Walmart and Linen & Things in the USA so our Walmarts might very well stock it.

For a sure thing, you could try the following locations that are listed on the official Bar Keepers Friend site:

    In Ontario:

    Golda's Kitchen, Inc.
    Howard Goldstein
    700 Matheson Boulevard West
(corner of Mavis Road, south of Highway 401)
    Mississauga, Ontario L5R 3T
    (905) 712-1475

    Reliable Parts
    2273 Dundas Street West #12
    Mississauga, ON L5K 2L8
    (950) 569-8333

    1. I'm pretty sure that Williams-Sonoma carries it.

I think our Linens and Things carries it also. I'll give you mine. Something about the smell really turns me off. Very metallic. Kinda like cough syrup I guess, in that it's nasty but it works.

Definitely Williams-Sonoma, bought some there a few months ago.

        2. Calphalon at Spadina & King also carries it.

          1. You can order online or by phone from Ashton Green in Ottawa.

            1. On another site, Bon Ami was said to be same as Bar Keeper's Friend.

No, it isn't. Bon Ami is much nicer to use, but Bar Keepers Friend is the only heavy duty cleaner that works well on eally messed up stainless steel and is the only effective cleaner for anodized.
