Texas mexican restaurant in downtown Sacramento

I tried searching for it without luck. Anyone eaten there? Have any thoughts? Thanks.

Politics aside, there are many better options for Mexican food in Sacramento and even in the grid than Texas. I found them to be just OK, nothing special.

I think you have to try Tres Hermanas on K st. Truly the best Mexican food we have had in Sacramento. Chile verde is great, with a lot of heat, mole is good, margaritas and tequila list is even better.

Did you find the Yelp page?

I haven't eaten there since they opened, but my parents have. They know the owners.

Texas Mexican Restaurant is on 8th street between L and K streets. The actual address is 1114 8th St and their phone # is (916) 443-2030

Are you talking about the one on K St. (or at least, was)? If so, you might want to do a Sac. Bee search because there were articles about when it closed and then, later, reopened.

Thank you. It's actually located on 8th street, right at the edge of the K street mall. I'll check the Bee
