Whats on the menu at Ko lately?

I went about 2 weeks after they opened and it was great, going back on Wednesday and curious to see what's been in rotation in the last few weeks.

Also curious about the wine pairings if anyone has any new info?

Is anyone else having a heck of a time getting a ressie here? I have been trying every morning for a couple weeks to get a reservation and it's like playing a game that you always lose at!

my original dining partner bailed and my replacement has to wear shorts - is that cool? Nothing about dress code is mentioned on the website but I feel like you can't...

When i went it was still early spring so no one was in shorts. It is "fine dining in terms of the food", but not the atmosphere. Doesn't seem like a shorts and sandals place though and may be inappropriate

          From their website:

each day we offer a tasting menu based largely on market availability.

we will make accommodations for food allergies with prior notice.

the price of the menu varies according to it's ingredients.

the current menu price is $100 per person

If you have been there before they will definitely try to give you different dishes.

I went on Friday night (6/6) and they served everything on the monkeydaemon page with the exception of the chawanmushi. Instead we both had an egg sous-vide. Food was excellent overall.

We drank the intermediate beverage pairings but I'm sorry to say that I don't recall many of the producers. Nothing startling but everything played together nicely.

Don't know. It was fine because we just traded plates. The real question is what happens if you're a solo diner...
