Canton Square

I drive by Canton Square every day, and it looks like Grantite Bar and Grill has been replaced with something called "Fins". Does anyone have any information about the restaurant?

I am assuming by the name it's going to be a seafood restaurant which is funny since Mamas on the Half Shell is right next door.

I don't know anything about it although it stayed open while they were painting it and changing the sign, which leads me to think that it might be the same ownership as Granite?

I popped in out of curiosity. The outside looks very Jimmy Buffet, but the inside is painted gray, & seems conservative. Maybe they are revamping the inside next (?). I asked for a take away menu, & it said, "Granite" at the top.

I know there's one in OC which is totally Jimmy Buffett themed, but he has nothing to do with it. He owns Cheeseburger in Paradise (with Outback rest group) and Margaritaville.

So many names and losers there...Amazing they would pick a name used by so many others, like Fins in Crofton and the new Fin at the Admiral Fell Out, which also has its own history. Maybe not so amazing, given their track record.

I swear, someone once told me that there was a lesbian bar in Balto called "Fins." No. I am not making this up! :-)

Yup. It was right on Fleet St. I also wasn't implying that Jimmy Buffett had anything to do with this place, it just looks like a reminder of all his horrible songs.

I know I would stay far, far, far away of anything coming close to a Margaritaville aesthetic!

Anyone been to "Fins". I picked up a take out menu, & it said, "Granite". Any improvements with the menu since new ownership and decked out rainforest make over?
