dinner in financial district/tribeca

casual fun place for three friends coming from work wednesday night! not too pricey...suggestions, please!

    petite abeille is a fun time

    landmarc is fun bit a bit more money

      Casual and fun can mean different things to different people, but let me suggest the Reade Street Pub and Kitchen, 135 Reade Street. As the name implies, it is primarily a pub, but it gets a nice crowd and the food is a notch above standard pub grub. Prices are quite user friendly, as well...

          Bridge Cafe is great, not super inexpensive but enjoyable.

          Landmarc is also great, really well-priced wine list. Don't think they take reservations, if that makes a difference.

          gotta go to tribeca. i've tried several of the places on front st. up from the seaport to try to avoid the tourist crowds. they were all mediocre. everywhere else around wall st is really expensive.
