Does anyone know where I can buy starter culture for yogurt?

I am specifically looking for yogourmet probiotic starter but any leads for starter would be appreciated....thanks!

Any yogurt (meeting your particulars) that says it contains live cultures will work.

Precisely. Plain yogurt is the centuries-old starter for another batch.

I have no idea what "probiotic" starter might be, but I bought regular starter at the h/food store near the corner of Broadway and 75th once upon a time and it seemed like a "regular" item, as nywoman implies. I'd bet Whole Foods sells it, maybe Fairway, upstairs in the organic section, too?

I was up in that area on Tuesday, and was sad to see that the "Health Nuts" store on 75th & Broadway has closed.
