Dinner in Timonium

were going rock&bowling at the lanes in timonium tonight. a group of about 7 all in our mid/late 20's. looking for dinner first. any type of food. not too expensive. looking for somewhere "fun". any suggestions?

How about India Palace on Cranbrook Road? I've only been there twice and it was good both times...although it's been over a year. It's probably too late since it's already after 9:30 PM.

Andy Nelsons is a good place for barbacue.

If you're looking for cheap, go up York road to Andy Nelson's BBQ. Best BBQ in town (way better than Corner Stable) and inexpensive. If you're looking for moderate, try Bluestone. It's not great food but it's good. You'll find selections in the under-$20 range and you'd be comfortable there in jeans as long as none of you looked seriously sloppy.

Avoid Michaels and The Stil -- both are awful. Sadly, there's a lot of bad to mediocre food in that area.

Also avoid Pib's Pub! It was plain awful!

I also had a pretty bad experience at Bluestone. Although the cream of crab soup was good, the lobster and crab pasta was pretty bland. Also the service was sad. We had to ask several times for another beer. I know several people who love Bluestone, but I am not one of them.

Actually, if I am in Timonium, I like Bamboo House and Greystone (it's in Hunt Valley, but I really like their crab soup and cobb salad).

The only thing i don't like about Andy Nelson's is that they close rather early.

Corner stable...about 5 minutes away

Corner Stable is great, much better place for dinner than Andy Nelson's. Do they even have seating for 7 people at Andy's?
