Mom's Birthday lunch in Pasadena

I am looking to take my mom for a b-day lunch this weekend in Pasadena. We are going to the Rose Bowl Flea Market then out to lunch. She is dieting and insists on eating healthy even on her B-day. I live in the SF Valley so I could use some suggestions?????

What about La Luna Negra? If you forsake the warm bread/tapenade delight they present when you sit down, there are several salads, which are very light and healthy. You can also order tapas style, so the portions are smaller and thus, healthier.
    Happy Birthday to your mom!

      Try Maison Akira. :)

They are a japanese/french restaurant and they are delicious!

Green Street...patio dining, salads, dressing on the side.

Definitely dressing on the side if you go to Green Street. I know someone who used to work there and it is definitely not healthy. The chicken (in some dishes at least) is poached in butter and the Diane salad dressing consists of canola oil, vinegar, and sugar atop an entire head of ice burg lettuce. Literally, an entire head.

Happy Birthday to your Mom!! Houston's has wonderful healthy selections - salads, sushi, chicken, fish. Their eggless Caesar is one of the best I've had anywhere.
