NY Scotch Lovers - "field trip" suggestions?

Hey folks,

Headed to NYC for a week. Since the Bourbon Library is only open at night, and none of my nights are fee, I plan to visit Keens and Park Avenue Liquor. Any other field trip suggestions if I can find the time?

    Hey All,

Thanks for the suggestions. I did not make it to them, but I will next time. Keens was the closest scotch establishment to where the deal was taking place, so we ended up going twice. It was a great experience though - got to try all four of their scotch flights.

Also thought I would share that when I was doing research I discovered that the following establishments are also supposedly good scotch haunts: the Brandy Library (knew about that one), Club Macanudo (cigars too - no sneakers), Lexington Bar and Books (full blown dress code), Hudson Bar and Books, and D.B.A

    Thanks again for your help,

You might want to check out the Hole In One bar (53rd@2ndAve). It is run by a Japanese fellow and specializes in single-malt whiskies. Some food is served. Do a web search to find more info if you are curious.
