Quick Iowa Question for Jwag
Heading to Waverly tomorrow afternoon to adopt a dog. I'll be leaving a couple hours before I need to, hoping to sample some local treats along the way.
Can't misses?
This is so last minute, but I have to save a dog.

Turned out the dog was staying on a farm near Rowley. I took mostly county blacktop up there. Stopped in LaPorte at a little Ice Cream/Sandwich place and had a Tenderloin. It wasn't homemade, and was fill. Nothing more, nothing less.
I did bring the dog home, but things aren't going well. They said he was trained to stay in the yard, loved other dogs, and responded well to commands.
He tries to kill my girlfreinds dog, doesn't respond to his name,let alone commands, and jumped through the screen on my front door ran 2 blocks to Merle Hay Rd, and caused quite the traffic backup. It took me 45 minutes and many nice people to finally catch him.
For the first time in my life, I'm beginning to understand why some cultures eat these critters.
