searching for baked spaghetti recipe

Hi all,

I'm craving my mom's baked spaghetti--it had canned plum tomatoes, angel hair pasta, cheddar cheese. I think it may have originally been from a magazine.

I can't seem to find the recipe. Anyone have anything similar? I need it to be vegetarian and I want something better than "pour bottled spaghetti sauce over pasta, top with cheese, and bake."
