Taco cart catering/ Ice cream catering in Venice

Ok I know it may sound weird putting Taco's and Ice cream together, but my boyfriend is turning 40 and I'm looking to have someone come and make tacos, tamales, etc. I also wanted to get an ice cream delivery where they make sundae's at your home. I know Ben & Jerry's does it but they have a 50 person minimum and we will probably have 20-40 people. We live in Venice so any suggestions for Taco catering (where they make the tacos on site) and sundae making would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Try Dandy Dons for the ice cream.

You can order ice cream sandwiches, etc. from Mashti Malone's, which is my favorite ice cream in LA. They'll make the delivery on the day of the party and you can just throw them in your freezer.

As for the tacos, maybe you can convince the La Oaxaquena taco truck to swing by your house before they take up their normal dinner-time spot on Lincoln, south of Rose. It's one of the best taco trucks in LA...

Two to try for carne asada/tacos:

Tacos Alvarez (ask for Rosalio) (661) 294-5025 or (818) 314-5415 They offer all the usual fare and can do large or small events.

Tacomiendo in Culver City catered my wedding and they are great! Ask for Yolanda or Ismael.

Tacos Mi Rinco Tapatio (818)362-7472 ask for Jose, They have come to my house in Westchester ( LAX Area) 3 years in a row for Christmas parties. They offer 3 different kinds of meat, rice, beans, salsa, chips, and tamales. They are great. My girlfriend is using them Sat. for her daughters graduation; I think the mininum order might be 40 - 50, so ask that first. If it won't work out for this event, maybe another. Approx. Cost $500 for 80 people, and we had a good amount left over.

why not contact "MILK" for the ice cream? they have a great product and might be open to doing the project.
also, maybe contact that new ice cream place on abbot kinney (i think it is called nice cream?) maybe they will be open to doing it because they are local.
