Breville Juice Fountain Plus vs Elite

I'm trying to decide between the Breville Juice Fountain Plus ($150) vs the Breville Juice Fountain Elite ($300). I understand that the Elite is stainless and has a 1000 watt motor vs an 850 watt motor. Other than that, are there any differences? Any tips on which juicer to buy are greatly appreciated.

I bought the elite a few months ago and love it. I haven't seen the Plus around - usually stores carry the elite...anyway, i haven't had any staining or problems at all with this machine and i've used it everyday for a few months now. actually, because of the stainless, there are a few pieces that i don't even wash with soap - just rinse out (of course the strainer basket is not included in this!)

im trying to decide between the 2 models as well. did you end up buying one of the two? if yes then which and how do you like it? i read a review that said the Plus stained easily when beetroot or carrot was used. for those who have the Plus, have you had this problem?

I know someone who has the Elite (since 2005), and we have the Plus (since 2007). Though I know there are design differences, I've used both with a variety of ingredients (fruit, veggies, ginger root, etc) and have noticed no discernible difference between the two as far as regular use goes. Given this, I'd go for the Plus again with no reservations.

There are quite a few amazon reviews for both that I also recommend reading, just to see what others are saying.
