Bishop's Orchards in Guilford, on the Boston Post Road, often has them-along with a zillion other good things. Including seasonal "pick your own" fruits.

I used to live in Bolivia and papplisas (purple spuds) were ubiquitous, but there are also day- glow lime yellow ones too. Why don't we have these too?

OK, Mister World Traveler, SP, do they taste significantly different from what we have here (I.E., red, russet, Yukon Gold, Maine whites, etc?) Are they so unique that we have to have them or they're just a fad? I want pale blue... Are the purple ones grown here?
BTW, I recently had some potato-like taro root from the Asian market. We liked it.

You betcha, Red Rider! Pappalisa taste like potato essence! Does Hatch taste significantly different from what we have here? The difference w/ the pappalisa is even more so. We had over 200 varieties of potatoes in Bolivia. The home of the spud!
