Mila is wonderful

Nawlins natives know this, but I was in your fair city for a brief visit recently and had the good fortune to have dinner at Mila. It was great. I had the tian of crab and the sweet tea brined duck, and I must say that, while the tian was excellent, the duck was transcendent. It may have been the best duck I've ever had . . . in any case, it made me very happy. If you have a chance to eat at Mila, don't pass it up.

i love their sweetbreads, second only to Bayona. they are served on truffled grits w/ pork au jus. awesome.

good crab & cheese fondue, too. havent tried dinner yet.. beautiful bar.
