A Mexican Martini is always fun in the summer and the best ones in Austin are at Cedar Door and Trudy's. But those are very laid back places, so if you're looking to impress, you might want to go to Saba and order one of their signature, brightly colored drinks.
And careful with the Mex Martinis - they are strong at both places. A two shaker limit....
I do have questions about Trudy's. I have seen them on several occasions, during happy hour, pour the mexican martinis and the regular margaritas from the SAME container. Essentially a margarita in a martini glass, with olives.
