Any worthwhile restaurants in Roseville?

My husband and I will be staying in Roseville for a wedding and would like to find a good place to have dinner on a Friday night. It doesn't matter whether it is fine dining, good ethnic eats or anything else. Budget isn't an issue. Is there anything in Roseville? If not, we will be flying into Sacramento and landing at SMF at about 6:30 pm. Is there anything sort of on the way between the airport and Roseville? We are from LA where we certainly have plenty of good restaurants so I'm not looking for anything that we can't get at home. We're just looking for an enjoyable dinner. Thanks for your help.

La Provence. As good as it gets. Directions, ratings etc...http://www.tripadvisor.com/Restaurant...

Website http://www.laprovenceroseville.com/ French, Mediteranean food, very very good.Inventive recipes, perfect service. really nice place for a meal, like a french chateau in the suburbs without seeing the suburbs.

Hawks Granite Bay (the other side of Roseville. Excellent food. Do a search on here for a thread about it. There are some other roseville Granite Bay reccos on it too.

Thanks Bennyboy1. I wouldn't have found those on my own. One of them should work just fine.

Not wanting to diss on Hawks here but...
It is a nice easy drive from the Airport to La Provence. Just go up (north) 99 to Reigo road (east)to Fiddyment, left, then right on Blue oaks and it is about a mile on the left. Kind of tucked away.

I second Hawksrestaurant.com in Granite Bay, to the east of Roseville in the Quarry Ponds center on Douglas.

If you are hungry when you land, one of the best Thai restaurants in Sacramento is about 10 minutes from SMF. The food and decor are excellent at Tuk Tuk in the Natomas portion of Sacramento.
