Can I make Ina's lemon bars in advance?

I'd like to make these lemon bars- a shortbread base and a lemon curd top- but I've never made them before so I don't know how they keep.
I need to serve them Saturday.
Suggestions?

Most lemon bars are sprinkled with powdered sugar, so if Ina's bars are too, make sure not to add the powdered sugar until just before serving, otherwise the sugar will melt into the lemon curd topping while the bars are in the fridge. And yes you certainly can make them a day or two in advance.

Ina Garten (I assume), "The Barefoot Contessa" on the Food Network.

I make my own recipe (very similar) and they are excellent same day or next day. You do lose a little of the crunchy edges after it goes in the fridge, but it's not a big deal. Also, as jannie also said, I would dust with a little extra powdered sugar before serving just to dress them up.

I prefer to eat lemon bars cold so I'd make them a day ahead or the morning of and refridgerate
