I recommend you try Olives for lunch since we always have had it for lunch. The food is great and I can't imagine dinner being any less. SW is truly my favorite restaurant in Vegas. If you like lamb, I highly recommend the lamb chops at SW.

Not a fan. Site of the single worst upscale dining experience in nearly a half century on the planet.

I have always enjoyed dinner at Olives.

Sit at the bar and have the beef carpaccio and a few martinis (I like the flavored vodka). We try to do it for a light lunch every time we're in Vegas.

I was there for a conference a month ago and did exactly as happen did.

            Ordered the beef carpaccio

            Beef carpaccio- $15
Crisp Roquefort polenta, shaved parmesan, cipollini onions

Two nice glasses of wine and I was good to go. Sure beat the conference lunch food.

Will be back there again every trip.

Yes, if you do end up going to Olives make sure to have the carpaccio. It's absolutely outstanding. It's not traditional by any means but it's extremely tasty and a huge portion to boot. You could certainly make a light dinner out of just that.

I didn't like olives for dinner either..found it mediocre at best but for lunch I enjoyed it. At Bellagio for lunch though I really enjoyed Sensei and I would pick that over olives unless you have your heart set on dining outside

Great martinis, but the food could be much better. You may want to go elsewhere.

Have had been to Olives 2x (most recently in 2006). Once for lunch, once for dinner. Highly recommend trying for one of the outside tables, overlooking the Bellagio fountains. Indoors can get a bit crowded and noisy.

Olives and posting in all caps are both big no-no's in my book.
