Downtown Vegas - breakfast buffets

Are there any breakfast buffets in downtown Vegas that serve pancakes?

Most places I've seen that have breakfast buffets limit it to eggs, sausage / bacon / miscellaneous meats, cold cereal, bread / muffins / bagels / other baked goods, and occasionaly yogurt.

Yes. Fremont Casino buffet does. And I venture to say it is the best breakfast buffet in Downtown complete with a disco/Liberace/faux rainforest setting. Vegas kitsch on overdrive. They not only have pancakes, they have a crazy wide selection of breakfast treats you won't find elsewhere. I held an April Fools Day plating contest there with a dining group I run and ....the joke was on us! The food was surprisingly high quality and easy to work with due to the wide variety. I'd go again in a heartbeat. Well worth the $10 or whatever it costs.

As a Las Vegas local, I found Fremont's buffet to be on par with the buffet at Circus Circus. I only been there for lunch and dinner. The food bland, rolls softer than white bread and lousy service as to clearing the plates. The only buffet I go to in downtown is the Golden Nugget. I do not recall seeing pancakes for breakfast; but they do serve carne asade on the breakfast buffet.

        Eric,

When was the last time you were there? I was there April 1st and no foolin', it was great.
