My two managers are going to meet up a client over lunch near Sheppard Avenue East & Victoria Park Avenue. Could you please recommend a suitable venue? I'm not too familiar with that area. Many thanks!

Sashimi house in the plaza at Sheppard and Consumer's road. Very good everything! It's busy though, the locals know it!

You have a few options, with mediocre food. I apologize in advance if these places aren't around anymore ( I haven't been in that area in some time)
The Fish house near Fairview has good atmosphere for corporate lunches, and the food is pretty okay. It's near Consumers road, faces Victoria Park. It's not exactly walking distance from vp & shepp though.

At the plaza, north west corner of vp& shepp there's some sort of grill house? I forget the name, tommy cooks, or something. Good venue for business lunches.

Thanks! For the grill house, were you referring to Joe Maggiano's Italian Steakhouse & Bar (http://www.menupalace.com/menupalace/...)?

Comparing Joe Maggiano's Italian Steakhouse & Bar with Moxie's Classic Grill within Fairview Mall, which one is better?

The Fish House is no longer at that location.

Both Joe Maggiano's and Moxie's food are made to appeal to the masses.
Neither one stands out as being better - in my opinion; others may have different views.

Moxie's recently underwent renovations. Last time I went, the music was on really loud.

The Fish House.... I think that moved up to Woodbine and John, or is the old one still there as well?

Nope, it moved as you said, and the old spot is closed down.

I guess Johnny's is out of the question...
