Making fresh mozzarella at home

I am trying to make fresh mozzarella at home. I got rennet (liquid) from a dairy farmer, but can't find citric acid. Anyone know where I can get some (not online)? Thanks!

You'll be in great shape if you consult Ricki Carrol's book and use her supplies. She has singlehandedly created the revival in home cheesemaking.

You should be able to get citric acid at any health food store with a good vitamin section. It comes in crystals...

Where did you get the rennet?

I've made mozz at home, but I did have to order everything online. I used the Cheese Queen's website in case you don't find a store. I've never seen either in a store around Baltimore.
