Mitchell's ice cream new flavor: Honey Bee - anyone try it?

I saw in SF Weekly an ad that Mitchell's ice cream has a new flavor: honey bee. Wildflower honey ice cream w/ dates & pecans. Anyone try it?

Yes, and it's delicious. Not overly sweet, and the dates and pecans are cut to just the right size for my taste. It's a keeper...

I know Bi-Rite Creamery uses the "best" ingredients, but in terms of taste and texture, Mitchell's is still the best ice cream in town.

If you say it's not overly sweet, I need to try it. I think most of their stuff is very "one note." Too sweet and basically tastes like cream and not a "flavor."

That's exactly how I feel about Mitchell's. I like the texture and there are a few flavors that I enjoy a lot, but overall their ice cream is very sweet. I think Bombay Chaat does a better job of balancing sweetness and flavor intensity, and I still need to try Bi-Rite (though I heard prices just went up!)
