  1. I am not a big fan of sangria's, but....I had an excellent white sangria at Barcelona in Pasadena. It was very refreshing.

ditto on the white sangria at Nona Cafe (Tarzana.................) Unfortunately they are often out of it, so call first!!!! The red is good too, but I love the (slightly sweeter than red) white variety.

Oh, the food is excellent there.

    2. La Paella on Vicente. I also like the white sangria at Sur in WeHo.

      1. Actually Primitivo on Abbot Kinney in Venice has a nice rendition.. And I am a fan of Sangria. Note, there is this a "premade" bottle " booze included" sold at Cost Plus which is not bad if your in a pinch..

        1. Mediterraneo is a great tapas restaurant in Hermosa Beach, they have good sangria. They have a great happy hour as well, some of the Tapas are two for one.

          1. Amaranta in the Valley
            Ciudad in downtown

            1. In OC: Picante in Ladera Ranch & Habana in Costa Mesa.

              1. I actually like the Sangria at the Spanish Kitchen on La Cienega. It has a nice spicy note to it...cinnamon or something similar. The food is only so-so, but you can't go wrong with a pitcher of their Sangria and some chips and guacamole.

                1. I like the sangria at Luna Park - both the red and white.

                  1. Chameau on Fairfax just north of Beverly. Awesome food too

                    1. By far the best sangria in town is actually at a Japanese restaurant, Kumo, on Melrose. The food is good, too, although it may not be exactly what you had in mind.

                      1. Had a full pitcher at Versailles Cuban Restaurant in Manhattan Beach. At $18 a pop, it was OK but not worth the money.

Unfortunately nothing at Versaille is. Wish there was a very good Cuban restaurant on the west side. Does anyone have any recs???

Definitely have to agree with the Sangria at the Spanish Kitchen. It's amazing. My favorite and I think it's the best in L.A. is Ciudad which is downtown. Amazing drinks!
