Boston hound visiting daughter. Would like to eat in Malibu, outside seafood

Paradise Cove could be what you're looking for. It's pretty far up PCH, but good vibe, good view. Food is just ok though, reasonably priced. You can sit right out on tables in the sand, right on the beach. No cliff-top views though.

Geoffrey's is nice with a good view.
Neptune's net is just a stand but it has corn and some local and not so local live seafood. if you're with someone who's not seafood mad there are burgers as well.

Also check out the sunset restaurant at westward beach road, not sure if they have outdoor tables or not but you can reserve a windwo

and paradise cove is slightly but it's got a beachy vibe and you can sit outside, but i don't think there's an ocean view.

and look up the Reel Inn if that's more what you want... it's a pretty general question really, not knowing if you want a shack or a full service restaurant.
