another taco truck in the news

A rather lighthearted look at the potential effects of losing taco truck: http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article...

"This may seem like a frivolous campaign, but picture this:

With no good place nearby to grab a tasty lunch, City Hall workers fan out to a larger geographical area. As a result, the time for lunch expands into the workday. Fewer chores are accomplished.

Cobwebs form on the computer keyboards and telephones of individual workers, while the citizenry - unaware of the reason for the slowdown, taps its impatient toes, waiting for permit approvals and similar official authorizations. The city engine slows to a crawl, and even the mayor's paycheck is delayed."

This would be a huge loss in the quick, cheap and tasty value meal choices in this neighborhood. I work at AAA and although we have a cafe it is horribly bad, not value priced for the 'hood and food quality is poor. I need to find the organizers and get my taco in one hand and my pen in the other! Viva le taco truck!!!
