really having trouble getting a res at ko. not normal trouble. everyday 3 of us try and every day we get the X or "someone just grabbed this spot." are we doing something wrong? should we not be reloading so quickly? help please. for the love of kimchi.

If you actually see green checks, you might have better luck trying early or late reservations. Most people will probably immediately try for the 8 o'clock time. Go for 630 or 930. Thats how i got a reservation in the second week.

i have gotten reservations at Ko 4 times, but have had to cancel 3 of them, and have only gone once. i've succeeded in getting reservations about 40% of the times i've tried. what has worked for me:

- checking the system clock against mine a couple of times and noting the difference in seconds, and then accounting for that
- going for an early reservation (i imagine the late ones work pretty well as well).

the first two i canceled were for singles and comparatively easily attained. then i read about how if you're two people, you'll get a little variety between the two of you for about half the courses, so i just concentrated on two-tops after that.

There are several hundred people all clamoring for reservations every day. It's not that easy! Make sure your clock is synchronized with Ko's clock? When the page loads, anticipate where the green checkbox might be and click there, as it does take a small amount of time for your browser to start displaying the page (here is where the speed of both your internet connectin AND your computer speed comes in).

Note that if you're aiming for a 4-top, there's only TWO a day, because there's only one place a 4-top can sit (and they do two turns) whereas there are a handful more 2-tops available.

I must be the most unlucky Ko attempter ever. I try pretty much every morning. Have the timing down for the 10AM click to seeing a row of green checks, click on everything as fast as possible, and every time I get the someone just grabbed that spot. Painful. Was invited once with friends, and now try unmercifully to get back.

Just got that today. So infuriating! I thought I had it for that split second until I saw that damn screen.

dont reload so quickly, it may look like your page is freezing or not active, but in reality you may be seconds from a "confirm you reservation" screen. Just time in and right before it hits 10am click to get a resy. It took me about 10 consecutive days to get it and then I actually got it two days in a row.
