date night TONIGHT! suggestions please

Hey everyone! My girlfriend and I are going out tonight and I am looking for some suggestions. We are both huge foodies and would love some place that has incredible food as well as atmosphere. We are not looking for typical, we want to try some new things. We live in downtown Boston so it would be nice if the restaurants were around here or possibly in Cambridge but nothing outside of that. (All Boston is included i.e. JP, Rosi, etc.)

I am open to suggestions and I know this is the best place to look. So let me have it guys send me anything you can think of. Crazy, odd, new, exciting all those words should come to your mind when making your suggestions.

Taberna de Haro is very good.

Les Zygomates is nice if they have music playing. Beacon Hill Bistro if you want a quiet end table to yourselves

I'd suggest Taberna de Haro - best Spanish food in Boston, lots of tapas options to try, outdoor seating if it's warm, funky (albeit crowded) and lively atmosphere inside.

Ten Tables in JP would be good, but you'll never get a reservation on such short notice, especially on a Friday. Probably true of most of the great spots.

Craigie Street, Salts, Sorrellina, Clio, Uni...call and see if anything's available.

I like Carmen in North Sq in the North End for a date night spot. The room is quaint and romantic and I have had a few very good meals there. I enjoyed the bolagnese there especially. So, there is my sugguestion.

If the temps remain warm, call Oleana & see if they're seating outside in the rear garden. If so, you'll get a winning combination of great food & a wonderfully romantic spot to share food with your girlfriend.
