I like to use a very fine grater and with short strokes I grate a hard cheese ie parmasan over the popcorn while warm, yum.

I do the same thing, but I spray the popcorn with Pam or the like first, so more of the parmeggiano will stick....

I like to dress the popcorn with melted butter, lots of finely grated parm (I like a microplane), and minced rosemary. The rosemary may sound a bit nutz, but it works so well.

I usually grate some Parmesan Reggiano over popcorn hot and buttered with a bit of cayenne and some Lea and Perrins. Another very good (and healthy) way to eat popcorn when there are cholesterol issues is to use flaxseed oil, Garam Masala and if you don't have high blood pressure, a good salt.

To make the best cheese popcorn make a batch of popcorn (the old-fashioned way please - in a seasoned pot with butter & oil). In a separate small pot, melt some butter and MacLaren's Imperial Sharp Cheddar Cheese and whisk together. Pour over your popcorn. Mmmmm. You can add garlic, rosemary or other flavourings as you wish.
