Summertime Shrimp Salad

I'm looking for a recipe for nice summertime salad that features whole jumbo shrimp but that has other fresh ingredients that complement it. I'd like the end result to be delicious, and colorful, and to shout, "Summer is HERE!" Can you help me?

I used this recipe for tandoori shrimp & mango salad as a starting point, the end result was so fresh tasting and delicious. I used what greens I had (romaine & spinach), added papaya and some other vegetables. I used Penzey's Balti seasoning and yohgurt as the marinade. Added shallots and Rooster brand chili garlic sauce (just eye-balled the ratios) to the dressing and mixed in the blender.

I see I ad-libbed a bit - but the recipe looks great as is and can serve as a starting point. The dish was a hit!

My family enjoys fresh snap peas cut on a diagonal added to the shrimp salad..and some hard boiled egg. We go pretty light on the mayo dressing or make up a fresh cider vinegar dressing with a bit of dried dill. Lots of lemon too.

I like crab louis with shrimp substituted.
