Kosher Falafel Truck @ 5th Ave & 17th St.!

Just wanted to let everyone know that a Moshe's Falafel truck has "opened" at the northeast corner of 5th Ave and 17th Street. Falafel was good, not great, but it's so nice to have some kosher food in the neighborhood. Soups and fries, too.

Has anyone been to the downtown Moshe's falafel truck lately? I tried finding it during my lunch hour today, with no luck. I have heard from others that they have tried a few different locations to see what kind of business they'd get, and that at one point they were on 23rd and 7th. I looked today on 5th Avenue between 14th and 19th Streets and 6th Avenue between 14th and 23rd Streets, and I could not find the truck. Last week, on two consecutive nights, between 6 and 8 pm I saw the truck parked in front of Bed Bath and Beyond on 6th Avenue near 18th Street.

Any idea where the truck can be found this week?

My wife works nearby and has been there a few times; she says it's been at 17th and 5th every time.

This is all great news! I teach classes nearby at Adorama (the camera store) and although the majority of workers there are observant, I have not found any nearby kosher establishments.

This is perfect, on my diet and keeps me pareve :-)

They get there between 10:30-11:00 a.m. and leave around 5:00-5:30 p.m.

I finally got back there today- it is under the supervision of R' Pinchus Horowitz of Brooklyn, says its pas yisroel and bishul yisroel. Everything is parve. Forgot to ask hours, sorry.

So sorry it's taken me so long to reply. Plan to go in a bit and will ask those questions. The man and woman running it were Chassidish so I kind of just glanced at the teudat hechsher.
