  1. I like the tuna salad at Gene's Grinders in Monrovia and they serve it on a freshly baked roll with lettuce, tomato, and olive oil.

Never been - will definitely try since I live closer to Monrovia now! Thanks!

    2. Europane. Tuna Melt=Pie N Burger or Russell's.

Thanks! Love the tuna melt at PNB! Thanks for reminding me. Also, had no clue that Europane (or Russell's, for that matter) did tuna. At Europane I usually get the egg salad sandwich! Will definitely put them on my list!

Have been meaning to try CV FOREVER! Perfect excuse to do it - today at lunch! Thanks, Ipse! BTW, have you tried their Tortilla Soup - is it any good? Thanks again!!

I've had the soup. I'm not a huge tortilla soup fan in general, but I thought it was tasty. My mom likes it, though, and she's more discerning when it comes to tortilla soup.

The tortilla soup is good - but on the spicy side. I used to work around there and it would be my #1 lunch destination when I had a cold and needed something to clear my sinuses.

          2. LeRoy's in Monrovia - they have great tuna salad!

Aha! Have never been there for anything other than breakfast - will definitely need to try! Thanks!

You can get a tuna sandwich, a tuna melt or a tuna salad (scoop of tuna salad in a big bowl of green salad/veggies). I've also had them make me a tuna club (a regular club sandwich with tuna salad instead of ham/turkey, yummy!)

            2. Dave's Chillin & Grillin in Eagle Rock. Fresh every day with his homemade Pepper spread. YUM.

              1. I dig Top's Drive-through on Rosemead at the corner or that street one block north
of Colorado ...I forgot the name.
Great mixture with celery and lighly toasted bread Get a side of the fries to go with it..crispy/outside, juicy/inside!

                1. I think the Pasadena Sandwich Co. has a really good basic tuna sammie. Its on Madre just N of Foothill.
