Local Fish and Produce in Ocean City

I am heading to Ocean City, MD for the weekend and want to cook a local meal on Saturday night. Does anyone know of any local farms, fish markets or farmers markets that you would recommend?

If you will anywhere near Rehoboth, Afishionado Seafood Market is highly recommended

Kind of early in the growing season. Sadly, the OC Farmers Market will not be open on Saturdays until next month. But you will drive by dozens of roadside markets on US 50 on the way there, some of which actually have local produce - although check carefully - this early most of them get their produce from the same vendors and wholesalers as your local Safeway.

The OCEAN CITY FARMERS MARKET will be at the Phillips Restaurant parking lot from 8 am to 1 pm. Highlights include seasonal, fresh vegtables of all types, plants, flowers and herbs, and more!

For local fish markets, I like Martin Fish (12929 Harbor Road, West Ocean City). They are a family-owned company that sells mostly wholesale to the restaurants, but do sell retail. 410-213-2195

Spoke to my parents who live on the Eastern Shore - they found good local strawberries and asparagus but nothing else at Wright's Farm Market in Mardela Springs, about 10 miles west of Salisbury on the north side of US 50. You can't miss their windmill.

I went to Martin Fish, which I had a hard time finding, but the fish was fresh and cheap and they had a pretty good selection. Thanks for the rec!
