Egg Sandwiches -- Coffee House Style
Looking to compile a list of neighborhood coffee houses that offer egg sandwiches. Not interested in full-service restaurants, but rather just the local Mom & Pop coffee joints where you can plug in your laptop and sit for several hours.
This is not a "chowish/foodie" query as these eggs are usually cooked in the microwave and serve merely to put some protein into your morning stomach along with the carbs and caffeine.
The ones that come to mind in my world are:
Buzz on Beverly &
Silver Lake Coffee Co.
But I'd love to expand my morning options throughout the greater L.A. area.
Thanks.
N.B. Obviously Starbucks has their prefab versions, though rumor has it they may be discontinued.

Probably Literati on the westside, on Wilshire. Not sure if they have wifi, or if that's a requirement.
I don't know about the egg sandwich for sure, but both the Beverly Hills Library and the Santa Monica main library have cafes where you can hang out. Coffee + food. SMPL's website lists 'breakfast sandwiches'--whatever that is. Kelly's, the fudge/coffee place in malls, has sandwiches & salads, but I don't recall seeing a grill. Kelly's had a pretty good caramel apple for $3 (not what you asked for, I know).

re: mungus
Thanks, mungus. Tried Literati yesterday, and enjoyed it, but found it closer to a full-scale restaurant than what I'm really looking for. Extensive menu and the only egg sandwich they have is a $9.95 thing made with 3 eggs and applewood bacon, with a side salad, etc. I'm hunting more for the daily $2.95-ish variety, 1 egg, microwaved in front of you while you're standing there, slice o' cheese, toasted bagel kind of thing.
I'm sure there are dozens of independent neighborhood coffee houses around L.A. that do this...Ones that most people don't know about unless they happen to live within about a 10 block radius. Would love to hear about any of those in other local 'hoods.
Thanks.

re: wutzizname
Got a few to try:
Groundworks Coffee in Hollywood makes exactly what you are looking for. They are fast & cheap. Their coffee is really nice also.
Also in Hollywood - I noticed that Sabor y Cultura coffee also has egg sandwiches like you speak of, but I have not tried one.
Also heard great things about the egg croissant at Cafe Tropical in Silverlake and have been meaning to try one of those one of these days.
Good luck
