<content>I'm seeing cedar planks for sale for $2 each at the least for doing the planking technique. Anyone know a way cheap source for cedar or alder wood pieces that are untreated and suitable for planking?? North End preferred to South.

      <content>Hey allisonw,

Check with a local hardware store that sells planking. Back where they fabricate the planks to order, there is usually a "remainder bin". Worth a look. The hardware folk can lead you towards the stuff that isn't treated.
