Generally I'm intrigued by a lot of the lesser-known beers, but I tend to shy away when they charge 5-6 tickets (which equals $5-$6) for a sample. As for beer, I'm very fond of the Allagash white, a beer from Maine that is very solid. I always bring some back whenever I'm in New England and I doscovered it at the Mondial de la bière.
