i need to order 2 dozen vietnamese summer rolls for tonight - ideas?

i'm in hollywood and work in pasadena. anywhere close by or in between is fine - they need to be vegetarian.

  1. I was at Absolutely Phobulous on Lacienega b/t Melrose and Beverly (down the block from Trashy Lingerie) and while the pho is not as rich and great as the ones down in Little Saigon, it was surprisingly good. Their summer rolls were pretty delicious as well. If you call ahead, I'm sure they can have it ready with all the fixings.

Ditto on Ab Pho, agreed this is my spot when I do not want to trek downtown or to the OC.

    2. Indochine (better than Gingergrass!)
      3110 Glendale Ave.
      Atwater Village

Also in Atwater Village, across the street from Indochine, is Viet Noodle Bar. Their summer rolls are very tasty, and cheap, too!

      2. is downtown on your way or close enough? i recommend blossom on main street (at winston, just south of 4th street). love their rolls.

        1. I like the vegetarian spring rolls (made with mushrooms) at

          Pho Pasteur
          8821 Valley Blvd
          Rosemead, CA 91770

          1. this may be too late, but... Saladang in Pasadena has "salad rolls" on its menu and, IMO, is very similar to what you are looking for...
