Hello,
I am originally born and rasied in New Orleans but currently living in Baltimore. My boyfriend and I are taking a cruise that departs from New Orleans. As part of our trip, I am having him meet my parents. Since we are departing for a cruise we only have about 2 hours from airport till the time we need to board the boat. I am looking for a good place for Lunch that can show my boyfriend what New Orleans is all about, open for lunch, and sutiable for parent meeting. All the places I've come up with (Commanders, etc.) will take too long for lunch. Any suggestions (seafood joints/ casual/ slightly upscale suggestions all welcome)

Oh and would like it to be close to the port, in case we are running late.

One of the best restaurants in the city is only a couple of blocks from the port. Rio Mar is at the corner of Julia and Peters, and they serve an amazing array of tapas at lunch. It's a locals' favorite and hghly recommended.
