Hello,
I am originally born and rasied in New Orleans but currently living in Baltimore. My boyfriend and I are taking a cruise that departs from New Orleans. As part of our trip, I am having him meet my parents. Since we are departing for a cruise we only have about 2 hours from airport till the time we need to board the boat. I am looking for a good place for Lunch that can show my boyfriend what New Orleans is all about, open for lunch, and sutiable for parent meeting. All the places I've come up with (Commanders, etc.) will take too long for lunch. Any suggestions (seafood joints/ casual/ slightly upscale suggestions all welcome)

Oh and would like it to be close to the port, in case we are running late.

Cafe Adelaide. The turtle soup and one of their excellent cocktails would be an excellent start or perhaps all apps. at Cochon.

On the very casual end, try Big Al's on Annunciation. Not too far from the port, boiled/fried/etc seafood.

Mr. B's. The waiters are fantastic so if you explain you've not much time they'll accomodate you. The Gumbo YaYa and BBQ Shrimp are fabulous!
