Looking for Kalua Pig...already done and ready to go

I'm looking for a completely done Kalua Pig that I can order and pick up when I need it. My boyfriend was telling me about a place, but his surprise party is coming up and I can't really ask him about it. I'm in the Redlands area but don't mind driving if that's what I need to do. Thanks for your help!

Greenhills Market, a Filipino market, in Diamond Bar will do one up for you ... to satisfaction ... crispy on the outside, juicy and tender on the inside! From 15 to 75 + pounds.

Is it kalua pig? "Kalua pig" doesn't have a crispy skin on the outside.

Call Debbie's Catering in Gardena. They do Hawaiian luaus and I'm sure they've done them or know someone who will make one like you want.
        Phone: 310-769-3688

Kalua pig prepared in the traditional way is in an imu (pit). Most restaurants and people who make it at home use a pork butt (shoulder) wrapped in ti leaves and either smoke it in their bbq or in an oven with some liquid smoke. You're going to get the oven kind at places like Shaka's.

Now if you want a roasted pig like at a Chinese restaurant that's done in an Chinese bbq oven and it has crispy skin. Don't know if the picture I attached shows up, but that one is $185 at Sam Woo BBQ in Monterey Park.

I think Shakas in Alhambra does Kalua Pig, do not know if it is whole, or if you even care. The also do a damn good bacon fried rice!

Don't really know of anyone who actually does authentic kalua pig in an imu (underground pit oven) but there are several restaurants that caters. Try this link to find something close to you:

Several places in Gardena have kalua (oven baked) pork on their catering menu like Cherrystone and Happa Restaurants which are pretty decent. Don't know if the Loft or King's Hawaiian caters but I would stick with the first two suggestions IMHO. Good luck.
