Eats near Ritz 5

Looking for a good, casual place to eat before a movie tomorrow night at the Ritz. Any suggestions? Any style of food....

  1. I'd go to either Zento (sushi) or Zahav (Israeli). Both are casual and excellent, though Zento is more casual and less expensive.

    1. For very casual - Pagoda Noodle Cafe

      1. is Ariana any good? Is there are moderately priced Morroccan there, or is Tangerine the only Morrocan around that area?

If all else fails, I will probably just go to Pagoda Noodle Cafe, but I would like to try something a little different.

ah, pagoda's excellent. if the movie's the center of your night, rather than experimenting with a new place and you're not sure how long it's going to take, i'd stick with pagoda - the food is consistently excellent, and the service is quick (assuming due to their proximity to the ritzes, they're used to the movie crowd).

love me some indonesian tofu soup, singapore noodles, and fried bananas for dessert.

I lived around there for a couple years recently, and very much enjoyed Ariana's every time we ate there.

I only ate at Pagoda Noodle Cafe once but the food did not make me want to go back. I probably should have given it another chance tho', since some people seem to like it a lot there.

I meant to add, Kabul was good too, right down the block from Ariana.

I second Kabul - delicious Afghan cuisine. BYO. Service is minimal, but food is delish.

Fez is probably a bit closer to ritz5 than tangerine, and far less expensive. pretty good stuff.
