Group Lunch near Elmhurst?

anita_cocktail May 27, 2008 09:38 AM

Hello Chicago land!
I am planning a weekday family lunch near Elmhurst in July. We will be a group of 10-20, all ages and stripe. Won't want to drive more than 10-15 min.
Looking for a nice place to lunch. Pleasant, not too fancy. All american or italian food would probably be best. Private room a must.
Thank you from a NY Chowhound!

You can also giove Mia Amici a try. It's right on the York Road. It's not old fashioned Italian food. Nice atmosphere. I am not sure if they're open for lunch. I've had 2 good dinners there in the past. I'll warn you that my friends from the east coast have never been happy with the Italian food out here. They think EVERYTHING is overpriced too.

Roberto's on Spring has been there forever. They have a private room and generally are not too busy on weekdays.
