Fefas Café

This is a little place on Hillsborough Ave in the T&C area of Tampa (corner of Hill’s and Sawyer Rd.) I don’t think is been open that long, under this name anyways.

I was on my way in to Charan’s and stopped there just to see what they had, ended up having a Frita Cubana (Cuban version of a burger) and it was very tasty, wish they had real shoe string potatoes, they use the can stuff, but the meat was good.
Not as good as the Rey de las Fritas in Little Havana, but it is a lot closer to me.

They have other stuff, Cuban Pizza and some pastries.
I did not try the pizza, maybe next time.

Anybody have any experience with this place?

  1. Cool... I live right around the corner, maybe I'll pop in on Thursday for lunch...
It's been a long time since I had a Cuban Frita and I realized it last week!

I had lunch at Arco Iris today but didn't think about it...
Man, their roast pork and plantains are top notch!
