Orlando/Miami visit from Ireland
As my wife and I are visiting Florida next month from Ireland, we are looking for some recommendations for our stay.
Just to let you know, we're staying at the Omni in Championsgate for a week, so are looking for some interesting, mid-priced, non fast-food restaurants in Orlando (preferably not too far from the hotel)
Then, we're off to Miami, where we're staying in both South Beach and Key Biscayne. I realize SoBe has a lot of places to eat, but we'd like to find a good seafood place, maybe a place serving Florida specialities, as well as somewhere for a special treat.
Thanks a lot

Welcome! Your hotel has my favorite Asian restaurant, Zen. Be sure to catch a meal there. Great hot Asian dishes and the best sushi! Try the Zen Experience Roll if you like sushi - many wonderful flavors. They also used to have a great dessert - frozen lychee mousse (lychee is an Asian pear). It was off the menu for a while, but you might ask about it.
Here is another recent thread that will probably help you: http://www.chowhound.com/topics/522280

re: ciant
There isn't much real close to the omni, but you have the Disney restaurants that are easy to get to. Mid priced, about the only one I would recommend is Boma. Flying fish, California Grill, and Jiko are definitely on the pricier side. I haven't been, but Kokopelli's on 27 is close and getting some great reviews. call them to make sure they are open 863-439-5554, that has been an issue I have found with them.
